After a purchase, you will receive an email containing a redemption link for your game. However, some slower payment types, such as bank transfers, can take 3-5 business days.

Mojang games are available via digital download, and can be accessed via your Mojang profile. If you purchased Minecraft on the original payment system, and do not have a Mojang account, you can download Minecraft at minecraft.net/download.

Please be sure that you did not buy a gift code instead of a game. You can check this by going to your Mojang profile. If you have purchased a gift code, you can redeem it on your own account from within your profile.

There is occasionally an issue where a failed transaction sends a customer to the payment confirmation screen. If after a few hours you have only received a 32 character order number, and not a transaction ID from Paypal or Moneybookers, it is unlikely that the transaction was successful. Please double check your payment account to verify if you were charged. Since you will not be able to purchase a game twice on the same account, if you were not charged, you may wish to try your purchase again.

If you've received a call from your credit card company asking if you would like to authorize an international transaction, they may have interrupted the payment process, even if they eventually let the transaction go through. Please first verify that your credit card was charged. If not, you can wait for a charge to process, or try your purchase again. If you were charged, you'll need to obtain a transaction ID and contact us below, as it is possible that the hold caused us to not be electronically notified of the purchase.
