If you made a purchase through Minecraft.net:
Sometimes, when a purchase is made with a credit or debit card, Moneybookers will send you an email requesting that you verify certain information for security purposes. This occasionally ends up in a junk mail folder, and if it is not responded to, Moneybookers will refund the charge, assuming that the card was not authorized for use.
Mojang is periodically instructed by a bank or payment partner to make a refund, which happens automatically. If you have purchased a copy of the game, and have lost premium status, you may have a refund on that transaction. Please check to see if you've been refunded before trying the other solutions on this page. If that is the case, you will simply need to make your purchase again, which will upgrade the account to premium.
Please double check that the username that you've purchased premium status on is the one that you're trying to log in with. Often, someone will have more than one registered account, and will have made their purchase on another account that they own.
If the game was purchased for you, please make sure that the buyer did not dispute the charge in error.
If your purchase was from a non-Mojang website:
If you have purchased a Minecraft gift code from a non-Mojang website, and it did not work, the code may be fake. If you receive an error stating that the code was previously redeemed, the seller may have sold you a used code. If you had premium status, but lost it, this is usually the result of a stolen credit card being used to buy gift codes, which are then re-sold through other websites. When Mojang receives notice of this from Paypal or Moneybookers, all such transactions are reversed, which automatically removes the premium status on those accounts.
If this has happened to you, we're sorry, but we don't work through other retailers. If you have purchased an illegitimate code, you may wish to dispute the charges with your bank, or contact the seller. We are unable to help you with purchases through other websites.
If you received a Minecraft code as a gift, and you have lost premium status, the original transaction may have been refunded. You can either contact the person who gave you the code, or give us the code to verify its status. Please see below for how to contact customer support.
If none of the above applies to your issue:
You should have received a transaction ID or gift code with your purchase information. You can click HERE to contact us and get this sorted out.
