I’ve been charged more than once

There are a few situations where a second charge may appear or seem to appear after a purchase:
 
  • When a payment fails, an order number may still be generated, which can be confused with a successful purchase. A receipt email with a transaction ID will be your confirmation of a successful purchase.
 
  • Banks may sometimes charge a small, currency conversion or international transaction fee (Mojang is located in Sweden, Moneybookers/Skrill is located in the UK).
 
  • Sometimes a bank or payment partner may put a temporary hold on an account for the purchase price, that can be confused with a second charge. These holds are usually resolved within 24-48 hours.
 
  • If you have accidentally purchased both a game and a gift code. You can see your purchases from your Mojang account profile.

If you have located a duplicate charge, please locate both transaction IDscontact customer service, and we will reverse the extra payment..
