Creating or extending your Realm

Creating a Minecraft Realm requires that you have a Mojang account with a Minecraft profile. If you don't yet own Minecraft, you can purchase it at Minecraft.net/store. If you have an old Minecraft account, and still log in with your username, you can migrate to a Mojang account.

You can purchase or extend a Minecraft Realm at account.mojang.com/buy/realms. Alternatively, your subscription settings can be found in-game by selecting your Realm, clicking Configure, then clicking Subscription.

Change subscription type

You can change between the two subscription types, recurring payment and one-time payment.

Recurring payment to one-time payment:
To manually extend a realm with a recurring payment already set up, you'll need to cancel the recurring payment and wait for it to expire before extending.

One-time payment to recurring payment:
Wait until your one-time payment has expired and then go to  account.mojang.com/buy/realms and choose to extend your Realm with a recurring payment.

Canceling a Realm

You can cancel or reactivate your recurring payment for Minecraft Realms at any time from account.mojang.com/me. On the account page, find your recurring payments listed under My Subscriptions. There, you can cancel or reactivate your Realm.

If you cancel a Realms subscription, you keep your remaining days and are not automatically charged again unless you reactivate the payment. You will be able to use your Realm until it expires; you do not lose any of the days that you have already paid for.

If you have any trouble with this process, please contact customer support.
